J.U.L.Y [Document Your Life]

July 31, 2014

July?
July has always been my favorite month (after December).
Holidays. Stunning places. Good weather. New movies. Good books. Yeah, a perfect month.
I am Daisy, let me share you a slice of my stories!

Mini corner shops in Kota Tua. They sell unique accessories. All are handmade!

Still from Kota Tua: Batavia Cafe, a beautiful cafe with adorable design. You'll get a really different atmosphere there. A very good place to rest your body for while after walking around the area.
My suggestion: order some chamomile tea!

Wanna enjoy the beauty of Kota Tua but too tired to walk? Take a bike trip instead! You can ride around the area with only Rp.15.000 for 30 minutes. Plus unique caps ala 'meneer' and 'noni Belanda'.

Let us take some selfies!

Whoa!
This is The Beatles cassette (A Hard Day's Night Album).
I found this worthy thing while accompanying my cousins to a market (on a shop that specially sells old cassette of old bands and singers).. You don't know how happy I was when I found this!
Yeah, I do love old and unique stuffs, and CDs are just too overrated, anyway! Haha.

I found these amazing books on a bookstore that specially sells flea books. It surprised me that they also sell English books and I was really excited and spend almost an hour to find the on the pile of old books!By the way, the left one (Anne Frank: The Diary of Young Girl) belongs to my cousin. She found it first. Argh.

I finished Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell in the end of July. I really enjoyed this book as it's a light read for us teens. I love how Rainbow Rowell tells the story in both of the character's point of views. BUT, I STILL CAN'T DEAL WITH THE ENDING. WHAT AN ENDING. Why you did this to me, Rowell?

That's all my July's stories. I stop here as I'm afraid to bore you guys.
Godspeed.
